The 2023 Australian Kangaroo Bullion Coin was struck by the Perth Mint from 1 ounce of 99,99% pure silver. The motive features the classic artistry of a bounding Red Kangaroo surrounded by stylized rays of sunlight. Also included in the design are the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO", the year of issue, the weight "1oz", the fineness "9999" and "SILVER". The reverse shows the Jody Clark effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, supplemented with the dates of her reign "1952-2022" and the denomination "1 DOLLAR". The Australian Kangaroo silver coin was first struck in 2015 and is issued by the Perth Mint as a bullion coin since 2016. The classic bullion coin with the annually same motive is in great demand worldwide.
