The 2024 Australian Kangaroo Bullion Coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The motive features the classic artistry of a bounding Red Kangaroo surrounded by stylized rays of sunlight. On the right side is the mint mark "P125", which refers to the 125th anniversary of the Australian mint. Also included in the design are the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN KANGAROO", the year of issue, the weight "1oz", the fineness "9999" and "SILVER". The coin is the first Perth Mint issue released with the Dan Thorne portrait of King Charles III on the reverse. The Australian Kangaroo silver coin was first struck in 2015 and is issued by the Perth Mint as a bullion coin since 2016. The classic bullion coin with the annually same motive is in great demand worldwide.
