Important Note - The 2023 Britannia bullion coins will still be struck with the fifth and final effigy of Queen Elizabeth II until December 1st. From December 1st, the portrait of King Charles III will be featured. We expect great demand for the initial coins with the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as they will probably be rare due to the lower quantities minted.

The 2023 issue of the Britannia bullion coin was struck by the Royal British Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver and features the Britannia as every year. The female figure in armor is symbolic of the country's patriotism. The motive of the silver bullion coin is surrounded by the inscriptions "BRITANNIA 2023" and "1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER". The reverse depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Since 1997 the British Royal Mint issues the popular silver coin Britannia - the first silver bullion coin from Europe. The bullion coin in uncirculated quality is delivered loose.
