The 2023 issue of the Britannia bullion coin was struck by the Royal British Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is issued to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III. The motive features the Britannia as every year. The female figure in armor is symbolic of the country's patriotism. She is surrounded by the inscriptions "BRITANNIA 2023" and "1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER". The reverse of the silver bullion coin features a portrait of King Charles III wearing a crown on his head. Since 1997 the British Royal Mint issues the popular silver coin Britannia - the first silver bullion coin from Europe. The bullion coin in uncirculated quality is delivered loose.
