With this silver bullion coin, the New Zealand Mint commemorates a famous coin with an owl motive which is more than 2000 years old - the "Attic Tetradrachm". The tetradrachm is one of the most important silver coins of ancient Greece. The owl has always symbolized strength, wisdom and knowledge. The motive features an owl sitting on a branch, a crescent moon and an olive branch, which symbolizes peace. Next to the owl are the Greek letters Alpha, Theta and Epsilon - this is the ancient Greek abbreviation for the city of Athens. The weight and fineness are also included in the design. The reverse depicts the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue 2021 and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II", "NIUE" and "TWO DOLLARS". The grooved edge of the coin allows the investor to store it very easily. The silver bullion coin is delivered loose.
INFO: If you order 20 coins, the coins are delivered in the original tube from the New Zealand Mint.
