The reverse depicts the American Bald Eagle, the national bird of the United States, and the 13 stars of the founding states. Also in the design included are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "1OZ. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR". The obverse features the iconic "Walking Liberty" by Aldolph A. Weinmann.
