The 2023 American Silver Eagle was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and shows the iconic goddess "Walking Liberty" by Adolph A. Weinman, striding towards the rising sun. After the American Silver Eagle was issued with a new design for the first time in 2021 on the occasion of its 35th anniversary, this issue also presents the new appearance of the classic. The new design was created by AIP designer Emily Damstra and features a majestic eagle that appears to be coming in for a landing, holding an oak branch in its talons. The Eagle is framed by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR - 1OZ. FINE SILVER." The 2023 Silver Eagle Bullion coin is delivered loose.
