The second issue of the new Series Australia's Coat of Arms is dedicated to the coat of arms of New South Wales. The motive depicts a jumping kangaroo as well as two sheep and a blooming vegetation, which also includes the Telopea Speciosissima (Waratah) - the national flower of the Australian state. The denomination "ONE DOLLAR" and a band with the inscription "NEW SOUTH WALES" are also included in the design. The reverse features the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which is displayed within a coin. A lion, which also appears on the coat of arms of New South Wales, is depicted sitting on the coin. Other floral elements as well as the weight, the fineness and the inscription "NEWLY RISEN - HOW BRIGHTLY YOU SHINE" complete the design. The coin was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from one ounce of 99.9% silver with a mintage of only 50,000 pieces worldwide. The Premium Bullion coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
