With this exclusive issue, the Royal Australian Mint is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the worldwide popular kangaroo series. Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver in uncirulated quality, the motive features the "King of the Outback" and one of Australia's most famous landmarks - the Kangaroo. The design is based on the original motive by Horst Hahne from 1993. The jumping kangaroo is surrounded by the inscriptions "ONE DOLLAR", "1 OUNCE .999 Ag" and "30TH ANNIVERSARY". Also included in the design is the mintmark "C" for the mint in Canberra, Australia. The reverse presents the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, complemented with the years of her reign "1952-2022", as well as the state of issue "AUSTRALIA" and the year of issue "2023".

First issued in 1993, the Kangaroo coin is one of the most famous issues from the Royal Australian Mint's coin program. Not only did it gain worldwide recognition for its classic design, but to this day, it is considered a stable investment for investors and collectors. The "Kangaroo - Mob of Thirty" anniversary edition is limited to only 10,000 pieces and is delivered in a slab.
