Celebrating the World Money Fair in Berlin, the Perth Mint has released this show special featuring the 2022 Australian Kookaburra design in vivid colors. The motive features a kookaburra sitting on an ornamented birdbath. The Agapanthus plant, typical for Australian gardens, is depicted in the background. The inscription "KOOKABURRA", the traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint as well as the year of issue, the weight and the fineness complete the design. The reverse shows the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The kookaburra is the largest member of the kingfisher family and the national bird of Australia. The 2022 Australian Kookburra silver coin in color is limited to only 1,500 pieces worldwide and is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
