To celebrate the 2023 ANDA Coin Show in Sydney, the Perth Mint has struck this special release of the Australian Kookaburra from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The motive features two kookaburras perched on branches. They are surrounded by the Waratah flower, a native flower species of Australia and the emblem flower of the state of New South Wales. The design also includes a Privy Mark in the form of a Kookaburra. The world's largest kingfisher became the official animal emblem of the Australian state of New South Wales in 1971. The 2023 Kookaburra design is framed by the words "KOOKABURRA" and "2023 1oz 9999 SILVER". The reverse shows the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The limited special release is delivered in an illustrated blistercard with the ANDA logo.
