To celebrate the 2022 ANDA Coin Show in Melbourne the Perth Mint has struck this special release of the Australian Kookaburra from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The motive features a kookaburra sitting on an ornamented birdbath. The Agapanthus plant, typical for Australian gardens, is depicted in the background. The design also includes a Privy Mark in the form of a leadbeater possum. The leadbeater possum is the official animal emblem of the Australian state of Victoria. The little animal is found mainly in the mountain ash forests of the state's central highlands. The 2022 Kookaburra design is framed by the words "KOOKABURRA" and "2022 1oz 9999 SILVER". The reverse shows the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination. The limited special release is delivered in an illustrated blistercard with the ANDA logo.
