Since 2014, the Perth Mint annually issues the Wedge Tailed Eagle in silver. It was the first collaboration of a US Mint engraver with a foreign mint and the results have been astounding. In 2019, the coin not only bears a new reverse design but also a new obverse. The fourth Wedge-tailed Eagle design by John Mercanti depicts a magnificent wedge-tailed eagle in flight and rays of sunlight in the background. The obverse features the new effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. by Jody Clark. This Wedge-tailed Eagle coin was struck from one ounce of 99,99% fine silver in uncirculated quality.
