The Wedge-Tailed Eagle bullion coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. Since 2014 the coin has been issued with an annually changing motive. It was the first collaboration of an US Mint engraver with a foreign mint. The Wedge-Tailed Eagle design by John Mercanti depicts a magnificent wedge-tailed eagle preparing to land. The motive is framed by the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE" and "2020 1oz 9999 SILVER". The traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint is also included in the design. The reverse shows the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denominaton. The Wedge-Tailed Eagle silver bullion coin is delivered in a capsule.
