The new Australian Lunar Series III by the Perth Mint starts in 2020 with the 'Year of the Mouse'. The first animal in the Chinese zodiac calendar is the mouse. The small rodents are very curious and explore their surroundings daily. Thanks to their great imagination and keen intuition, mice can rely on their clever minds to memorize places, paths, obstacles, feeding spots and other things. The motive of the 99.99% pure silver coin portrays two gilded mice feeding on fresh corncobs. Also included in the design are the Chinese character for 'mouse', the inscription 'MOUSE 2020' and the mintmark 'P' of the Perth Mint. The limited silver coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
