The second issue of the Australian 'Shipwreck Series' is dedicated to the sailing ship Vergulde Draeck (Gilt Dragon). The triangular-shaped bullion coin was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from 1 ounce of 99.9% silver. The motive depicts the ship surrounded by decorative maritime ornaments. The reverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and depicts scenes from the dramatic story of the Vergulde Draeck. The silver bullion coin is delivered in a triangular capsule of the Royal Australian Mint. For investors the coins are delivered per 10 in the original tube, per 240 coins in the original Masterbox of the Mint.
