Following the great success of the first two issues commemorating the Disney™ classic "The Lion King" the New Zealand Mint has launched the third release in the popular series. The annual series features changing motives from the successful Disney™ production (film and musical). The 2021 issue of the Lion King series is dedicated to one of the key scenes from the animated film. The famous musical montage to "Hakuna Matata" is featured, which depicts an adult Simba walking with his friends Timon and Pumbaa over a fallen tree trunk. The background is dominated by a full moon in the sky. In the course of the music montage, little Simba grows from a baby to a full-grown lion. The design also includes the official Disney™ logo. The limited Premium Bullion coin struck from 99.9% pure silver is delivered loose. If you buy 25 coins, the coins are delivered in the original tube of the New Zealand Mint.
