This one ounce silver bullion coin of 99,9% silver was struck by the New Zealand Mint to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse. The first appearance of one of the most popular comic figures in the world took place 90 years ago. On the 18th of November 1928 Mickey Mouse celebrated his premiere in the film "Steamboat Willie". The motive of this special anniversary edition depicts a large "90" with Mickey in it´s middle. The phrase "YEARS OF IMAGINATION" is engraved underneath along with the metal weight, quality and the Disney copyright. The obverse of the coin features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. For investors the coins are delivered per 25 in the original tube of the New Zealand Mint, per 250 coins in the original Masterbox.
