The third issue of the "Celestial Animals Series" is dedicated to the "Red Phoenix. The Premium Bullion Coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and features an image of the phoenix. The reverse shows the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and the year of issue. In Chinese Feng Shui, each of the five elements is represented by a different animal. This traditional philosophical doctrine from China is based on the harmony of the rooms and the influence of certain elements on people. The phoenix, also known as the firebird, burns to ashes again and again and is reborn from it. The phoenix is assigned to the south and the element of fire and therefore bears the color red. The limited silver bullion coin in uncirculated quality is delivered in a protective capsule.
