The Premium bullion coin is a tribute to the hard rock band KISS, which was founded in 1973 and can look back on a 50-year success story in 2023. The band thrilled its fan base over the past 50 years not only in musical terms with hits such as "I Was Made For Lovin' You", "Detroit Rock City" and "Strutter", but also represented a visual highlight through the costumes of the individual members, which quickly became a trademark. The founding members Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss represented "The Starchild", "The Demon", "The Spaceman" and "The Catman" on stage and stood out with their strikingly made-up faces and eccentric style of dress.
Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver, the motive features a depiction of the KISS logo as well as the four distinctive face designs above. Below the logo is the inscription "THE 50 ANNIV" while the words "THE LAST TOUR EVER - END OF THE ROAD" run along the edge. The reverse design mimics the look of a record and features the Niue coat of arms as well as the denomination, year of issue, weight, fineness and copyright. Limited to 25,000 pieces worldwide, the Silver bullion coin celebrating 50 Years of KISS is delivered in a protective coin capsule.
