The Silver coin is a tribute to the hard rock band KISS, which was founded in 1973 and can look back on a 50-year success story in 2023. The band thrilled its fan base over the past 50 years not only in musical terms with hits such as "I Was Made For Lovin' You", "Detroit Rock City" and "Strutter", but also represented a visual highlight through the costumes of the individual members, which quickly became a trademark. The founding members Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss represented "The Starchild", "The Demon", "The Spaceman" and "The Catman" on stage and stood out with their strikingly made-up faces and eccentric style of dress.

Struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver, the motive in color features a depiction of the four founding members in their iconic outfits, as well as the KISS logo. The reverse design mimics the look of a record and features the Niue coat of arms as well as the denomination, year of issue, weight, fineness and copyright.
