This first coin note in the STAR TREK - NEXT GENERATION ™ collection is made from five grams of pure silver and features the poster of the first episode from the science fiction television series. Written by D.C. Fontana and Gene Roddenberry, Encounter at Farpoint was premiered on 28 September 1987. The poster design from Juan Ortiz is brought to life through engraving and color printing. The unique number in the mintage is also printed on the coin note. This first note in the series will be delivered inclusive a seven-note collector’s album. The collector’s album is STAR TREK™ themed and includes a summary of each corresponding episode.
