The bullion coin STAR WARS™ - Darth Vader™ was struck by the New Zealand Mint from one ounce of silver and features an officially licensed image of the Sith Lord Darth Vader™ with his lightsaber. Darth Vader™ is one of the main characters in STAR WARS™. He was originally considered to be the chosen Jedi, who would resolve the imbalance of powers. However he joined the dark side. The antagonist's most famous scene is when he reveals his true identity and past to his son Luke Skywalker, one of the most important rebels, with his statement: "Luke, I am your father!" - The coin design includes the inscription '1 oz 999 Fine Silver', the copyright of Lucasfilm™ Ltd. and the logo of the New Zealand Mint. The reverse features the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions 'ELIZABETH II', 'NIUE', 'TWO DOLLARS' and '2020'.
