The STAR WARS™ Premium Bullion coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and depicts the official image of the crest of the Jedi Order. The design also includes the copyright of Lucasfilm™ Ltd., the weight and the fineness. The reverse features the Niue coat of arms and the inscriptions "TWO DOLLARS" and "2023".

The Jedi Order was founded in 25783 VYS and was an association of Force-sensitive individuals dedicated to the Light Side of the Force. The Jedi's most famous adversary at the time was the dreaded Sith Order, a grouping of Force-sensitive individuals who sought domination of the galaxy with the help of the Dark Side of the Force. The Jedi Order's crest is based on the phoenix, a mythical creature that is reborn after death. For the Jedi Order, the design was modified to represent two wings framing a lightsaber.
