The silver coin was struck from one ounce of 99.9% silver and is dedicated to Superman™. It is the third release in the DC Comics™ Series featuring the famous characters of the DC universe. The motive in color features a depiction of Superman™ in flight over the Metropolis skyline. The inscription "SUPERMAN" is also included in the design. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions "5 DOLLARS", "SAMOA 2023" and "1 oz Ag 999".

Originally from the planet Krypton, Superman™ made his first appearance back in 1938. The super-powered hero has made it his mission to fight for justice on Earth.
