This Somalia Elephant 2022 - Giant Moon issue of the popular African Wildlife series was struck from one kilo of 99.99% pure silver in uncirculated quality. The African Wildlife Series from Somalia is released with an annually changing elephant motive and is very popular with collectors and investors worldwide. The coin features the new 2022 elephant design in color. The motive depicts a mother elephant and her baby walk through the African steppe at night. The large full moon, which also gives this issue its name, is particularly striking and brightly illuminates the night landscape. Along the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT" as well as the weight "1 kg" and the fineness "Ag 999.9". Furthermore, each coin was provided with an individual numbering, which can also be seen on the obverse. The reverse features the Somali national emblem, which depicts a shield with a star inside, supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two palm leaves each in crossed form. On the outer rim are the indications of the country of origin, year of mintage and denomination: "SOMALI REPUBLIC 2022 2.000 SHILLINGS". The African Wildlife Elephant 1 Kilo Silver coin is strictly limited to only 100 pieces worldwide and will be delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
