The 2021 edition of the Somalia Elephant from the popular African Wildlife Series was struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in uncirculated quality. The African Wildlife Series is characterized by an annually changing motive and is very popular among collectors and investors worldwide. The gilded motive features the head of a full-grown elephant whose trunk seems to protrude from the coin. At the edge are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "1 oz" and the fineness "Ag 999.9". The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms. It depicts a shield with a star which is supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two Palm leaves as well as the inscription "SOMALI REPUBLIC 2021 100 SHILLINGS". The gilded silver coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
