On the occasion of the World Money Fair 2023 in Berlin, this special edition of the African Wildlife Elephant was struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The motive features the new 2023 Elephant design. Depicted is the head of a fully grown elephant as he wraps his trunk around a hanging branch. The African steppe landscape is outlined in the background. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "1 oz" and the fineness "Ag 999.9". The Privy Mark depicts the Berlin Cathedral, the impressive building is situated on the Museum Island in central Berlin. The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two Palm leaves and the inscriptions "SOMALI REPUBLIC 2023 100 SHILLINGS". The limited special edition of the African Wildlife Elephant Coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
