This Somalia Elephant 'Black & White' Set features the 2023 Elephant design of the popular African Wildlife Series - one with a black background and one with a white background. Both coins were struck from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in uncirculated quality. They were finally plated with Black Ruthenium and got a partially white painting. The African Wildlife Series is characterized by an annually changing motive and is very popular among collectors and investors worldwide. The motive of both coins features the head of a fully grown elephant as he wraps his trunk around a hanging branch. The African steppe landscape is outlined in the background. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE" and "ELEPHANT", "1 oz" and the fineness "Ag 999.9". The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star, which is supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two Palm leaves and the inscription - „SOMALI REPUBLIC 2023 100 SHILLINGS". The limited Black & White Elephant Set is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
