The 2022 Somalia Leopard of the successful African Wildlife Series was struck from one kilo of 99.99% pure silver. The African Wildlife Series from Somalia has been released since 2018 with annually changing motives of the spotted big cat. The Series is very popular among collectors and investors around the world. The motive of the 2022 release depicts a leopard standing on a rock. Other rocks are depicted in the foreground and background and the grasses typical of the African savannah grow up between them. The inscriptions "AFRICAN WILDLIFE", "LEOPARD" and "1 kg Ag 999.9" are also included in the design. The reverse shows the national coat of arms of the Republic of Somalia, which depicts the Somalia flag and two leopards.

Together with lion, tiger and jaguar, the leopard is one of the most graceful and powerful big cats. As a true survival artist, the lithe hunter can be found in the primeval forests of the continent as well as in mountains, savannahs and semi-deserts.
