This Simpsons™ silver coin is dedicated to Krusty the Clown™. It was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The motive depicts an image of Krusty the Clown™ smiling with two thumbs up. In addition the design includes the inscription "KRUSTY THE CLOWN", the signature of Matt Groening and the traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint. The reverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, the fineness and the year of issue. Since 1987, 'The Simpsons™' has been broadcast on television. In 2018 the series reached an incredible milestone becoming the longest-running primetime scripted show in television history.
