Thor is the second bullion coin in the Marvel Series from the Perth Mint. The coin of one ounce 99,99% silver features a classic rendering of Thor holding his hammer. The effigy on the obverse is the Ian Rand Broadley design and states the purity 9999 and legal tender denomination of $1 from Tuvalu. The release of this coin just before the new Marvel movie Thor Ragnarok comes as good timing. The film is a continuation of the films Thor and Thor: The Dark Kingdom.
