On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the Silver Eagle, this 2021 set was issued and presents both the old and the new design of the famous classic. In 2021, the American Silver Eagle appeared for the first time since the launch of the coin in a new appearance. Created by AIP designer Emily Damstra, it features a majestic bald eagle that appears to be coming in for a landing, holding an oak branch in its talons. Framing the eagle are the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR - 1OZ. FINE SILVER". The second coin features the old Silver Eagle design, as well as the classic "Walking Liberty" motive in color on the reverse. The inscriptions "LIBERTY", "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2021" are also included. The limited 35th Anniversary American Silver Eagle set in new design is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
