The second issue of the new Series Age of Sails is dedicated to the famous sail training ship of the German Navy - the Gorch Fock. The motive of the Silver Eagle coin depicts a bright white Gorch Fock with hoisted sails and German flag. The reverse shows the American bald eagle, the national bird of the United States. The eagle is enframed by 13 stars and the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "1OZ. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR". The Gorch Fock is considered an ambassador of Germany and the German Navy. The three-master, also known as "the white swan of the Baltic Sea", is over 60 years old and has undergone a lengthy process of refurbishment. The naval training ship should be able to set sail again before the end of 2021. The limited silver coin in color is delivered in a capsule including a product card.
