The third issue of the 10 coin series Landmarks USA - Top 10 is dedicated to the Statue of Liberty. The world-famous statue represents Libertas, the Roman Goddess of Liberty. The design is by Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French people to the United States and is a UNESCO World Heritage since 1984. Located in New York Harbour, the statue was inaugurated on 28 October 1886 by US President Grover Cleveland. The colored coin motive features the Statue of Liberty by day and by night. The reverse shows the American bald eagle, the national bird of the United States. Above the eagle are 13 stars and the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "1OZ. FINE SILVER - ONE DOLLAR". The limited silver coin in color is delivered in a capsule including a product card.
