The 2023 American Silver Eagle was minted from one ounce of 99.9% silver and shows the iconic goddess "Walking Liberty" by Adolph A. Weinman, striding towards the rising sun. After the American Silver Eagle was issued with a new design for the first time in 2021 on the occasion of its 35th anniversary, this issue also presents the new appearance of the classic. The motive features an American bald eagle in color and the Capitol of the United States in the background. The Capitol is the official seat of Congress, the legislative branch of the United States of America, in Washington, D.C. Between its claws the eagle holds the American national flag. The design is framed by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "ONE DOLLAR - 1OZ. FINE SILVER." The 2023 Silver Eagle coin in color and with a new design is delivered in a protective capsule including an illustrated product card.
