The second edition of the Earth and Beyond coin series is dedicated to the moon. The fifth largest moon of the solar system orbits the earth in an average of 27 days. Depending on where the moon is currently located, its appearance varies. Because of its relatively short distance from Earth, Earth's Moon is the best-studied celestial body. The fantastic coin of one ounce of silver shows the full moon in color. Convex design adds depth to the full moon, making it appear rounded and particularly realistic. The celestial body is framed by a silver ring. Symbols for the moon landing in 1969 are depicted on the silver ring. Stars, the Earth, a rocket, a space capsule, a lander and the inscriptions '2019 THE EARTH AND BEYOND - THE MOON' and 'FIVE DOLLARS' are depicted on the silver ring. On the reverse you can see the planets of our solar system, the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions 'ELIZABETH II', 'AUSTRALIA' and 'ONE OUNCE FINE SILVER'. The exclusive moon coin is presented in a noble case. It comes with a certificate in the original packaging of the Royal Australian Mint.
