The gilded silver coin is dedicated to the Australian Kangaroo - one of Australia's most famous landmarks. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from two ounces of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality. The motive features two adult kangaroos. In the foreground, the first kangaroo lies relaxed on the ground, while the second kangaroo hops happily through the landscape in the background. While the kangaroos in the foreground appear in silver, the entire background is 24-carat gold-plated. The inscriptions "KANGAROO" and "2 Oz 9999 Silver", the year of issue "2025" and the mintmark "P", which refers to the Perth Mint are also included in the design. The reverse features the Dan Thorne portrait of King Charles III and the denomination. The mintage is limited to 3,000 pieces worldwide. The gilded 2 Oz Australian Kangaroo silver proof coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity of the Perth Mint.
