The 2023 High Relief Silver Coin is dedicated to the Australian Kangaroo, one of Australia's most famous landmarks. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality. The colorful motive of the coin features an adult kangaroo looking over its shoulder. A eucalyptus tree and grass trees can be seen in the background. The inscriptions "KANGAROO" and "1 Oz 9999 Silver" as well as the year of issue "2023" and the mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint are also included in the coin design. The reverse features the Jody Clark portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the years of her reign and the denomination. The limited silver coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
