This extraordinary Australian Koala Coin in high relief features one of Australia's most popular marsupials. The coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver in proof quality. The motive shows a koala sitting on the branch of an eucalyptus tree. The year of issue, weight and fineness of the coin as well as the inscription "AUSTRALIAN KOALA" are also included in the design. The reverse depicts the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the denomination "1 DOLLAR" and the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II" - "AUSTRALIA". The limited incused high relief silver proof coin is delivered in the original box including a numbered certificate of authenticity from the Perth Mint.
