This antique finish coin was struck on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holidays and features a gilded rotating snowflake in the center. The design recreates a joyous Christmas Eve in a snowy and festively decorated village. As a highlight, golden accents were placed in the design, symbolizing the light from the houses and fairy lights from the decorated Christmas trees. The traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint is also part of the design. The reverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination, the state of issue, the finesse and the year of issue. All coins have been individually 'antiqued' and as a result of this treatment, the appearance of each coin may vary.
