The Diamantinasaurus is the second coin in this exciting new five-coin series, which features Australian dinosaurs that existed during the Cretaceous Period between 102 and 112 million years ago. The coin’s reverse depicts an Australian Diamantinasaurus dinosaur set against a colourful, prehistoric forest scene. The inscription Diamantinasaurus, the coin’s weight and purity, as well as The Perth  Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated into the design.
