This set includes three coins from the Australian Lunar Series III of the Perth Mint. Each coin was struck from one ounce of silver - one coin in proof quality, one coin in color and one coin with a partial gilding. The coins are dedicated to the Year of the Dragon. The dragon is the fifth animal in the Chinese zodiac calendar. The motive of all three coins feature a detailed depiction of the mythical creature. Stylized waves and a flaming pearl surround the dragon. The design also includes the Chinese character for "Dragon", the inscription "DRAGON 2024" and the mintmark "P125" signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary. The reverse shows the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, supplemented with the dates of her reign, the denomination and fineness.
