The 2 Oz Antique Finish coin from the Australian Lunar Series III of the Perth Mint is in 2023 dedicated to the Year of the Rabbit. The rabbit is the fourth animal in the Chinese zodiac calendar. The motive features a watchful rabbit with his ears erect next to another rabbit reaching out for a blooming twig. The rabbits are surrounded by a rural garden scene with a picket fence, flowers, cabbages and three other rabbits. Also included in the design is the traditional mint mark "P" of the Perth Mint. The reverse depicts the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, the year of issue, the fineness and the denomination.
