This set includes three coins from the Australian Lunar Series III of the Perth Mint. Each coin was struck from one ounce of silver - one coin in proof quality, one coin in color and one coin with a partial gilding. The coins are dedicated to the Year of the Snake. The snake is the sixth animal in the Chinese zodiac calendar. The motive of all three coins feature a coiled snake on the ground, surrounded by drooping leaves. The design includes the Chinese character for “snake”, the inscription “SNAKE 2025” and the Perth Mint's “P” mintmark. The reverse shows the portrait of King Charles III, the denomination and the fineness.

The zodiac sign of the snake is said to have particularly strong intuition, wisdom, intelligence and good powers of observation. Anyone born under the sign of the snake in 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965 and every 12th year before that is considered to be cultured, sensitive and philosophical as well as artistically inclined. The limited three-coin-set is delivered in the original box of the Perth Mint including a numbered certificate of authenticity.
