This unique dome shaped coin is the second issue in the new Lunar Series and was struck by the Royal Australian Mint from one ounce of 99,9% silver. The silver coin in 2021 is dedicated to the Year of the Ox and limited to only 7,500 pieces worldwide. The ox is the second of twelve signs in the Chinese Zodiac calendar, following 2020, the Year of the Rat. Those who were born under the sign of the Ox are considered to be patient, powerful and especially reliable. The conscientious Ox is characterized by a high moral standard for himself and others as well as his strong sense of duty. The motive of the coin features an active ox, surrounded by willow branches which stand for humility. In addition, the inscription "YEAR OF THE OX", the Chinese character for "ox" and the weight and fineness of the coin are engraved. The reverse shows the Jody Clark portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination and the year of issue. The limited dome shaped silver proof coin is delivered in the original box from the Royal Australian Mint including a certificate of authenticity.
