The ox is the second of twelve signs in the Chinese Zodiac calendar, following 2020, the Year of the Rat. The conscientious Ox is characterized by a high moral standard for himself and others as well as his strong sense of duty. The motive of the coin features an active ox, surrounded by willow branches which stand for humility. In addition, the inscription "YEAR OF THE OX", the Chinese character for "ox" and the weight and fineness of the coin are engraved.
