This silver coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion. The motive depicts two uniformed figures with bowed heads, whose body language conveys compassion and remembrance. Behind the figures rises a large maple leaf, the iconic national symbol of Canada, while below the figures a banner bears the years "1926" and "2026". The design also incorporates poppies, symbolically representing the 13 Canadian provinces and territories as well as the Legion’s international branches, along with forget-me-nots as the symbol of remembrance in Newfoundland and Labrador. The reverse features the portrait of King Charles III along with the inscriptions "CHARLES III", "D.G. REX", "CANADA" and "DOLLAR".

The Royal Canadian Legion was founded in 1926 and brought together several veteran organizations formed after the First World War into a strong, unified voice representing former and active service members. One hundred years later, approximately 270,000 members continue this mission with great dedication. The commemorative coin was struck from 99.99% pure silver and is limited to 35,000 pieces worldwide. The silver proof coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity from the Royal Canadian Mint.
