"Give Peace a Chance" was released in 1969 during the Vietnam War and was the first solo single by John Lennon when he was still a member of the Beatles. The song was created during the honeymoon at the legendary "Bed In" by John Lennon and Yoko Ono in room 1742 at the Hotel La Reine Elizabeth in Montreal, Canada. The song quickly became a hymn to the anti-war movement. On November 15, 1969, estimated 500,000 protesters sang the song during an anti-war demonstration in Washington, DC. The $20 silver coin features a picture of John Lennon and Yoko Ono during their legendary "Bed In" with a rose in their hands. The limited collector coin is delivered in the original box with a certificate of the Royal Canadian Mint.
