On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the comic figure Lucky Luke, the Monnaie de Paris issued this coin made of 99.9% silver. The motive of the coin shows one of the illustrations from Lucky Luke's new album 'A Cowboy in High Cotton': The figure of Morris and his faithful horse Jolly Jumper crossing a cotton field on their arrival in Louisiana. The reverse depicts one of the cartoon panels of the French-Belgian comic strip. Lucky Luke fights a duel against his own shadow and proves once again that he is indeed the fastest shooter in the West. The inscription "75 ans", the denomination and the year of issue are also included in the design. The commemorative coin is delivered in the original box including a certificate of authenticity.
